Terms of Service

1Introduction & Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our restaurant reservation platform operated by Restaurant Reservations Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

2Use of the Service

Our service is available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and can form legally binding contracts under applicable law.

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3Restaurant Responsibilities

Restaurants using our platform agree to the following obligations:

• Provide accurate information about menu, pricing, availability, and restaurant details
• Honor confirmed reservations and maintain reasonable availability
• Respond promptly to reservation requests and customer inquiries
• Maintain food safety standards and comply with local health regulations
• Update availability and special requirements in real-time

4Guest Responsibilities

As a guest making reservations, you agree to:

No-Show Policy

• Arrive on time for your reservation or notify the restaurant of delays
• Cancel reservations at least 2 hours in advance when possible
• Understand that repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions

Payment Rules

• Pay any required deposits at the time of booking
• Settle your bill directly with the restaurant according to their payment methods
• Understand that deposits may be forfeited for no-shows or late cancellations

5Payments & Fees

Our platform may charge fees for certain services:

• Booking Deposits: Some restaurants may require deposits, which are refundable according to their cancellation policy
• Service Fees: We may charge a small service fee for premium features fee for premium features
• Restaurant Commissions: Restaurants pay us a commission for successful bookings
• Refund Policy: Refunds are processed according to individual restaurant policies

6Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Restaurant Reservations Ltd. and its licensors.

• Our trademarks, logos, and brand features are protected by intellectual property laws
• You may not use our intellectual property without explicit written permission
• User-generated content remains your property, but you grant us license to use it

7Limitations of Liability

We strive to provide reliable service, but certain limitations apply:

• Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Restaurant Quality: We are not responsible for food quality or restaurant service
• Third-Party Actions: We are not liable for actions of restaurants or other users
• Data Loss: We are not responsible for any data loss or technical issues

8Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Conditions for Termination

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Repeated no-shows or disruptive behavior
• Providing false or misleading information

9Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
